What Is The Minimum Age To Train At Baseheat?
We accept players from 12 years old and up.
Which Positions Do You Train?
We train all baseball positions.
What Does A Typical Training Day Look Like?
It includes physical work, mechanics, mobility, strength, bullpen or hitting, data analysis, individual work, and group sessions.
What If My Son Doesn’t Throw Hard Yet?
Every player starts with an initial assessment, and we build a personalized program based on their current level.
2. Recruitment Process / Tryouts
How Can I Join Baseheat?
By participating in our official tryouts.
What Does The Tryout Include?
Physical tests, skills evaluation, mobility screening, and more.
How Long Does The Tryout Take?
Approximately 45 to 90 minutes.
3. Housing, Meals & Transportation
Does Baseheat Offer Housing?
Yes. Housing is available for national and international players enrolled in selected programs.
What Does Housing Include?
Shared room, meals, Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms, and supervision.
Can I Stay Outside The Housing Program?
Yes. Players may train as external athletes, covering their own accommodation costs.
4. Costs & Payments
How Much Does It Cost To Train At Baseheat?
Costs depend on the program the player is enrolled in.
Is Payment Monthly Or Seasonal?
It depends on the program. Some players pay monthly for training, while others are under our professional signing programs.
Do You Accept Players Who Don’t Qualify For A Contract?
Yes. We offer general development programs for players who want to improve.
5. Facilities, Equipment & Technology
What Technology Do You Use?
TrackMan, Blast Motion, high-speed cameras, timing sensors, and more.
How Is Progress Measured?
We run frequent evaluations based on each player’s needs and situation.
Do You Have A Gym?
Yes. Our gym is fully equipped for strength and mobility training.
6. Rules & Discipline
What Are The Main Rules?
Punctuality, respect, no cell phones during sessions, cleanliness and order, and no absences without authorization.
Are There Any Consequences For Breaking The Rules?
Yes. Consequences may include a warning, suspension, or expulsion depending on severity.
7. Parents & Family
Can Parents Enter The Facilities?
Parents are allowed only during visiting hours and in common areas.
Can I Record Videos?
Only with staff authorization.
8. International Players / Visas
What Do International Players Need To Train In The Dominican Republic?
It depends on the player’s country; some may require a visa. Please review requirements based on your country.
Does Baseheat Help With Documentation?
We don’t handle documentation, but we can provide guidance based on our experience.
9. Scouting & Professional Signing
How Does Baseheat Help With Professional Signing?
We prepare athletes physically and mentally to meet the highest standards of MLB organizations.
Do You Have Connections With Professional Teams?
Yes. We work with all MLB organizations and international leagues in Europe and Asia.
What Happens If A Player “Steals A Year”?
It gives the player more time to develop and showcase before signing.
10. Baseheat Experience / Camps
Who Can Participate?
Players from 9 years old and up.
What’s Included In The Experience?
Combine & Scouting Day, training, visit to our players farm, game day, beach day, batting cage, and a visit to an MLB facility (if available).
11. Offseason
What Is The Offseason Program?
An intensive preparation program for professional players at all levels, from summer leagues to Major League Baseball.
What Areas Are Covered?
We start with an initial assessment to build a plan for strength, mobility, speed, hitting and pitching mechanics, pitching design, and everything needed to optimize performance.
12. Assessments
How Often Are Assessments Performed?
At entry; then every 8 weeks, or sooner if required.
Are Assessments Mandatory?
Yes. Assessments are the foundation of our system.
Can I Book An Assessment Without Enrolling?
Yes. We offer standalone assessments.
